While traditional Scandinavian design favours restraint in form, our New Nordic+ approach adds a layer of Malaysian craft intelligence — modular thinking, tailor-made execution, and a construction logic that is made visible rather than hidden.
Module 1 is the complete 1-seater — arms on both sides, fully self-contained. It carries the full Fold identity: the piping on every cushion panel, the slim black steel legs, the layered foam beneath and feather wrap above. It stands alone as a reading chair of quiet authority, and integrates cleanly into larger setting with 3 and 2 seater and ottoman modules

The overall feel is medium-soft: relaxed enough for long use, but still composed and supportive in daily life. This is not a deep sink-in lounge feel. Fold is more composed than slouchy, which is part of its character and one reason it works well in both homes and project settings.

The Fold is designed by Valencia-based designer Enrique Martí under Poet Living's New Nordic+ philosophy — applying Scandinavian principles of honest construction, purposeful form, and restrained materiality to a modular sofa system made in Malaysia. The signature piping seam is the defining expression of this: construction made visible, not hidden.
Yes. With arms on both sides, Module 1 is a complete, self-contained 1-seater sofa — proportionally finished and fully functional as a standalone piece. It also integrates cleanly into larger Fold configurations by connecting to body modules on either side.
Medium to medium-firm. The zigzag spring system responds and moves with you. The foam layers give structure and longevity. The feather wrap softens the initial contact without removing the support beneath — the seat supports you without the cushion collapsing around you. Over 1,000 fabrics across grades A–E online, with additional grades available exclusively in our showroom. Most grades carry FR certification to USA NFPA 260 Class I. Fabric samples available on request.
